Behind the scenes we have a team of people working on the sale of your house and one of my main roles is co-ordinating this joint effort. I arrange viewings and valuations on behalf of customers, deal with builder and corporate clients and also liaise with solicitors so I have a good overview of the whole process. Agreeing a sale and seeing the property complete quickly is always a highlight of the job. I have been the secretary at Butcher for the last five years and have worked in the industry over 20. My role involves preparing the brochures and files for both the Barnsley and Penistone offices, producing adverts for the local newspaper, typing up probate and valuation reports, answering the phone and helping with enquires, preparing invoices and banking, ordering EPC’s and floorplans and much more!
