The Cooper Gallery Barnsley (4 Year olds+)

At the Cooper Gallery in Barnsley, kids ages 4 and upwards can let their inner artists shine. In addition to interactive, puzzles, and books, the drawing area gives kids a chance to be creative. Soar Trampoline Park Barnsley – All Ages 

Soar Trampoline Park is a place to jump around. This indoor trampoline park is a wonderful place for your kids to have fun while burning off some energy. They have many different trampolines and things to do. 

Take your family on a day trip where they can learn somersaults and how to do anything that bounces. This is a wonderful day trip for people of all skill levels because there are so many trampolines. Even if your child has never been before, they will have plenty of room to try out their moves in a safe, supervised area.

Locke Park Barnsley – All Ages

Locke Park is a popular park in Barnsley. It has a lot of green space where people can play ball or have picnics. It also has a play area for kids up to 10 years old with different climbing structures and a basket swing. There is also a sandbox, a paddling pool, a cafe, a bowling green, and tennis courts, so there is a lot to do if you take advantage of everything it offers. 

The park is full of smooth, easy-to-use footpaths where children can ride scooters, skateboards, or bikes. If the playground is crowded or the children want to do something else, boules, bats, and balls, frisbees, and kites are all great day-savers. Though you may need to dig them out of the shed or garage first! 

Stagecoach buses stop near the main car park on Keresforth Hill Road. It is also not too far from the shops, so if you plan, you can visit the park for a snack, lunch, and a game in the middle of the day between things you must do in town. Do not forget to take a picnic blanket!
